Ordering Information
Delivery time for tents varies due to demand. We rarely keep tents in stock because we are a custom tent business, not a cookie-cutter shop. We want our customers to have the tent of their dreams, not the same one that their neighbor has (unless that is what you want). Order early and let us know well in advance if you have a specific date you need your tent by.
When you order your tent we require a 50% deposit before we begin the work. This deposit is non-refundable on custom orders, and there can be no changes on rush orders. The balance of the order must be paid for by money order, certified check, or credit card. If you pay for the balance of the tent with a personal check, it must clear before we will ship it to you. We have a $30 fee on all returned checks.
We accept payment by cash, check, money order, and credit card. For credit card orders, please use our Order/Quote page, or send your order to order@highlandtents.com and you will be sent an invoice via PayPal within 24 hours. We also have payment (layaway) plans available for your convenience at no additional charge. We require a 20% deposit for all layaways and you have six months to pay off the balance of the tent. The tent will be shipped to you once the final payment has been received.
Orders are shipped via UPS, although tents over 150 lbs. may be shipped by truck and will cost more. Shipping weights are estimated due to the variance in the weight of the materials, and any overpaid shipping costs will be refunded and underpaid costs will be billed.
