These pavilions were found from Roman times through the Middle Ages and into the 19th century, and were often decorated with stripes and other patterns for a more unique appearance.  

Marquee pavilions are excellent for merchants, as the walls are easy to set up, move and remove, making it more convenient to display wares. With the addition of the optional pole ties, you can lower the pavilion walls to expose merchandise for additional ventilation while maintaining security.

This pavilion is also good for families or for groups, especially during multiple-day events. It has lots of room to stand up inside, as well as for storage or moving around. With the moveable walls, you can easily divide the space up into sleeping and living spaces, or the roof section can be erected alone for a shade.
